"Jellyfish Inflow Prevention Net" (Jellyfish Countermeasure)
Utilize natural currents for exclusion! Prevents floating debris from entering.
Kanae Corporation is a pioneer in jellyfish prevention with over 60 years of experience. You can trust us with everything from design to installation! The "Jellyfish Inflow Prevention Net" is a net that is deployed across the entire intake of cooling water at thermal and nuclear power plants, as well as coastal plants, to prevent floating debris and jellyfish from entering. Even if the prevention net becomes blocked by a large number of jellyfish, we can still secure the necessary intake volume. It has a strong capability to prevent the inflow of floating debris, eliminating the need to process it as industrial waste on land. There are two installation methods: bridge-type and buoy-type, and we design and construct according to the location of the equipment and conditions such as sea state. [Features] ■ Floating debris inflow prevention system ■ Temporarily captures jellyfish and utilizes natural currents for removal ■ All net deployment, lifting, and separation can be managed from the intake walkway For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.
